"The hotel was beautiful with all the amenities you could need. This was our first time in a traditional Japanese style room and it was such a fun experience. The onsens were great and the reservation system easy to use. Dining was special and we loved the food. Getting to do a little laundry in their facilities was an added bonus. Staff was eager to help and made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire stay."

"The place was great. Best thing was the staff. They were so nice and accommodating. I was late for my check in but the staff helped me by waiting to still serve me dinner when I got there. They were waiting out front for me and helped me out all with everything. They were the nicest people. The facilities were great too. Food was delicious. The room was lovely. The onsen was relaxing. I'm very happy with my stay there."

"The ryokan and the area surrounding it was absolutely beautiful. The staff are very kind and will take the time to assist as much as possible, even with the language barrier. Breakfast and dinner is included. A free shuttle is available for pickup/dropoff between 2 stations at certain times, inquire when making the reservations. The room with private bath is absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely visit again."

"This property does take some effort to get to. But the stay was pleasant. Buffet was delicious and onsen baths were amazing. The ryokan experience is very interesting and comfortable for us. Staff were very helpful. One thing to mention is it is not very tattoo-friendly. They politely ask you to cover tattoos in common areas, including restaurants."

"Beautiful hotel… had breakfast included, which was very yummy. Hotel at the top of the hill z..quick walk to the town, but the walk back is a killer! There is a shuttle but it’s only drops. And picks up at the train station."

"The property is outstanding and the staff are very willing to help if you are amenable to no chairs in the room and only sitting on the floor. Also the room has no shower, so you either must use shower during your private time or if you miss you time slot you have no choice but to use it during public time. For ladies two showers, so at worse you will share with one other person."
