Property was undergoing refurbishment, but we were informed of that and it didn't effect a weekend stay. Positives: Friendly check in. Great location for where we needed to be. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Clean and tidy room. Sky tv and wifi in the room. Road noise/motel noise wasn't too bad. Air con was great, and easy to use. Things needing improvement: The bathroom had no extractor fan, but did have a window near the shower you could open. I felt like people could possibly see in. The tiling on the shower/bathroom floor became very slippery once you had a shower. Beds were not the best I've slept on, but were adequate. There is refurbishments going on in the downstairs units so it may be that the upper units are still to be done. Overall it was fine for a budget friendly night away with kids.

Very comfy, quiet and clean. Shops were close by and parking was included in the price. Thankful to the staff for allowing a last minute change to add my granddaughter in the same room with us. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when we are back in Auckland. Thanks team.

Location of property was great, close to central city and Rugby venue, plenty of parking, reasonably quiet. The rooms were ok but no ventilation in bathroom except for opening window.

i stay at this place regularly an this time i was in unit 11 the shower and bathroom is run down and out right dangerous. the shower and mixer is a disaster and dangerous it does not control the heat and has no instructions it looks like it has been tampered with and tried to be fixed.

The wifi wasn't very strong unfortunately, and also the stairs seemed a little slippery (it had been raining) which was unsafe. Other than this I enjoyed my stay here and the reception lady was lovely thank you

Place was warm. Shower was good. Kitchen area was less than adequate. Rusty 2 hob rings you had to plug in. Small frypan. No small saucepan. Not much bench space.

Convenience for an early appointment at Hospital.
Chose this motel for the close proximity to the Ascot Hospital . Had an early morning appointment, so having to travel from Hunua, we found it less stressful to be five minutes away from the Hospital than joining in with the early morning rush hour traffic. Would use this Motel again in the same situation.

Our rooms water pipe had burst. The carpet was wet, the basin didn’t work. Bathroom handle nearly fell off, handle fell off the draw. We couldn’t get into our room until after 6pm.😡 My daughters 21st started at 6pm so we were 1 1/2 hours late for it.😡 Not impressed at all!!

Where to start have stayed in numerous motels both here and overseas and this was terrible and would never go back. Refurbished room ... um maybe in 1979 holec around toilet button, tiles chipped and old, chipped mugs, room not serviced over 4 day stay no bed made just cover thrown up, no dishes cleaned, rubbish bins emptied spasmodically had to ask for toilet paper and tea bags (given a shopping bag instead). Handed a key and told vicinity of room. Noisy people in other unit partying out side window until early hours complained it continued, did not feel safe staying on my own. Tried to check out notice on door said reception not open till 8am (!?) at 8.15am still locked and in darkness. Operators keen to get your money but no service or interest from there on in. Don't waste your money not worth it.

I was in an upstairs room, which also looked as if it had an adjoining room if required. The first night was good, the second night the walls seemed very thin as I could hear my neighbours quite clearly when they were in the kitchen, I could even hear the jug being boiled. This made it a little harder to get to sleep. My room was serviced but only the towels were changed and the rubbish bin emptied. The bathroom needed updating, old mould in the bottom corners and did not like the wet room setup as the floor got very slippery after a shower. Very handy location, public transport across the road, supermarket and shops in close walking distance.

Service at reception was excellent. The unit we stayed in was in dire need of refurbishment. Couch upholstery was falling to bits & bathroom needed a full upgrade. Linen was clean & handy location to shops etc.. Wouldn't race to stay there again unless it was renovated.

Very handy to everything, rooms a bit tired but OK for what we wanted. Had a stale smell when we came into the room, grounds outside a shambles. For a one night stay was very good.
