Choice, 2 star Hotels in New York

Compared to the prices that you can pay in Manhattan this hotel was really good value. The staff were friendly it was clean even had the bonus of breakfast - cereal, toast &muffins a few cooked items and a waffle maker, but enough to get you going in a morning. The location is also good. You're in China town and heading 1 minute round the corner (to the west) is Canal street. Just North of that (within 5 minutes) is little Italy. Heading East of the hotel doors there are lots of streets with bars and restaurants. Pianos was a favourite and within 15 minutes walk. Heading South of the hotel will take you to the Financial district and WTC memorial site as well as ferries to Staten Island and the Statue of Liberty. You're also within a minute of Manhattan Bridge, with Brooklyn bridge about 10 minutes away. The nearest Subway is Grand street within a 2 minute walk.

LIke to come once again and suggest our friends. Very good hospitality and nice staff.

Bed was comfy. Room and bathroom were very clean. Lots of cute restaurants and shops on and around the block.

Went for quick trip to NYC. Great location (super easy to catch the subway or a cab) and very nice staff. Room cleanliness exceeded my expectations.

I was there with 3 children for a 2 day sight seeing vacation. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, one even went so far as to come outside and direct me to the parking area! Very close to the Metro, easy to navigate. The area is obviously one that is being developed...looked a little run down but we felt extremely safe when we walked to the metro. It was a pretty quiet area. We forgot a pair of shoes in the room, we are working on getting them back with the help of the staff, so that is appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

Every staff member I spoke with always greeted us with a smile and were helpful with any questions we had!! They accommodated us with special requests as well!! Only 2-minutes to the 7 train and a few stops into New York City!! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!! Great diner nearby too!!

Great location from I-95 Close to metro. 30 min ride to NY Nicely updated rooms. Free breakfast. Quality food choices.

I will give all five to this hotel but they need to include an Small refrigerator and microwave to they rooms. If they do this its going to be a perfect place to stay in New York!
