Wood Valley Fishing Holidays

When we checked in, we found out we were on the third floor. The elevator was broken. I had just had foot surgery within the last three weeks and had just been hospitalized for a week 10 days prior to our arrival. Third floor without an elevator was not an option. Luanne at the front desk did find us a first floor room with a working elevator. When we got into the room, we found the sleeping arrangements would not accommodate the four of us. They ended up putting us in two rooms for four of the five nights. Originally they were going to charge us for the second room, but then comped us for the second room- we did all have to stay on the third floor, without an elevator, for our last night. Luanne and Sandy were wonderful! Very thankful that they could get my daughter and myself on the first floor room.

I had a lovely time in a beautiful place with views from everywhere on the property. Everyone was kind, helpful & welcoming.

Enjoyed our stay immensely! Loved the pool and 2 jacuzzis Great location and walkable to both King’s and Queens’s shop, Free pass to the Hilton Resort is a big plus! Great customer service from the property manager Shannon as well! Would definitely come back!

Beautiful grounds, attentive staff and excellent facilities. Everything top-notch.

I’m almost afraid to review this place because it was so nice and I don’t want others to know about it. The place was beautiful. The room was clean and well-equipped ed. They have self-serve laundry on site with four washing machines and dryers. The staff was wonderful. Only downside is all the food options close early (around 9) so be prepared for that. there is a grocery store down the street though so you can stock up there. The beach was nice. It was wonderful Would definitely stay again.
