"What a marvelous property! Highly recommend!"

"Theresa is an amazing host at an incredible property. It was great to interact with the animals. She helped us understand how to see the volcano eruption and even went out of her way to wake up other guests to be sure they didn't miss it. She has thought of everything including "junk" towels to clean up shoes after hiking. The breakfasts were delicious, and the papaya boats were excellent. The location near the volcano is convenient too. Excellent. Planning my return trip already "

"Perfect location for 2 people visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Staying this close made it easy to get to the park to see the latest eruption. The garden on site is beautiful. Some other reviews complained about not having hot water, the host clearly states it takes a while, so just give it time. And yes we saw a spider, took two seconds to remedy that. It's in the middle of a rainforest which is beautiful, but if you want to be in nature, you might just see nature. So don't let those reviews scare you off. We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and hope to stay again the next time we visit the park. "

"This home is the perfect location for exploring Volcanoes National Park. It was cozy, clean, spacious, and very well equipped. It had everything we needed. We loved the string lights on the front porch, electric fireplace, comfy beds, and chatty chickens in the yard. The owners thought of everything you could need - the coffee, shampoo and conditioner, and laundry detergent were really thoughtful touches to include.The home also offered privacy and solitude, yet it is located in a neighborhood close to the park and restaurants. The Jungalow was easily accessible coming from either Hilo or the Kona side. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to stay in the area. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay!"

"I loved everything about Kilauea Lodge. The lush rain forest surrounding the lodge, the relaxing and soothing hot tub, our very comfortable and spacious room and the delicious dinner at the lodge restaurant. We had a wonderful time!"
