Staff was great but it was a real process getting the correct password for our wifi. It was just out of date and they had to contact the rental company over in Maui. Otherwise we had a nice time!

Great location and surrounding areas of this resort.close to the beaches suitable for snorkeling where we went every day. Beautiful green space in the resort and it has three swimming pools but we just didn’t have time to enjoy. Love the space of the unit we stayed. Very clean, staff are very nice and friendly. The only issue we had with our unit was lacking some basic kitchen appliances/tool such as electric kettle, scissor and basic ingredients. Fortunately we bought ingredients for our previous stay at Hilo. We understand that some units managed by the resort belong to different owners. We would like to come back but want to pick a different unit.

Check in was the worst!
Arrived in the evening and although the front desk clerk tried to give directions to the building/room it was impossible to find. Very POOR lighting so bad I fell on the walkway! The room was clean and spacious Cute sign instructing to remove shoes but the carpet had nails that we all stepped on and cut our feet
Swimming pool was closed for maintenance and the next one next to us was empty
A nice complimentary Hula Show was an added plus

We were pleasantly surprised how nice, clean, spacious, and well equipped Holua Resort is. We enjoyed everything about our property. It was a short stay and we are looking forward for another longer stay the next time.

Arriving in dark locating correct parking was a challenge. We accidentally parked in the unmarked asst manager spot. He was rude rather than helpful. Not good start. Our stay at the Lodge was perfect! From the beautiful room - we stayed in Ohia, to the hot tub, to the delicous food at breakfast and the restaurant. The Lodge was clean, close to the national park and in a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend staying here.
