"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"

"This hotel was great to stay in. The room was very spacious with tatami mats and two areas to sit down and relax/work on computer including a nice couch with a table and desk with a chair. "Requested a toddler bed as advertised as free when I booked the room. It wasn’t provided and when I asked for it I was told that it would be an additional ¥8990.
Pool advertised is also a hefty additional charge"
"This hotel is fairly old-fashioned, but that’s what makes it unique. Despite the fairly decent condition of the room and the smell of smoke, it was alright. The con is we have to walk uphill to the bus terminal. "
