"I was surprised why this hotel does not have cuurent reviews and then I found that the majority of customers are local. Only one Chinese staff, Kon, can communicate in English but every staff is very nice and attentive once you figure out the rules. Public onsen fa ility is standard and efficient. Spacious toom must be at least 300 sq.ft. for 2 of us. Hot Water and temperature are centrally controlled. But if you are after hours you should go to public bath to take a shower. Laundry is inside...

"Good location central to the Shiga Kogen ski fields. Down a driveway and across the road to the lifts. Excellent service, the team were exceptional. Food was good and the lounge area around the fireplace was a great spot to relax after a long day. The hotel itself like many in the area is in need of an update but was perfect for us."
