"Really enjoyed our stay. Location was great in between Windermere and Bowness, easy walk to both. Lovely breakfast and charming room. Very quaint. About 15 rooms, they are not huge rooms and have a small bathroom. Only weird thing was the hotels direction on map led us to a completely different place so we arrived at the wrong accommodation at first. Would recommend Woodlands, we liked it a lot. "

"Absolutely loved my stay here. The room was big and very clean. The bathroom was huge and spotless. I slept better than at home, the bed was so comfy! The breakfast was lovely too. I can’t fault anything and will definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. "

"Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a spacious room with a large window seat. Loved the bathroom towels which were big and very thick. The bar and dining areas are very inviting. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Wish we were staying longer! "

"Really lovely stay. Loved the high ceiling in the bedroom and the fantastic view of Windermere even from the ground floor. Tea/coffee making facilities. Very helpful friendly staff, great location and so easy to use. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Could do with more pegs/shelves in bathroom."
