We were volcano watching and did not want to have to drive back to Kona, so we spotted this place at a very reasonable price, booked it and saved ourselves the 2 hour schlep. It was clean, quiet (well except for the coqui frogs - but just had to close the window) , cozy and had a supremely comfortable bed. Best of all, it was 8 minutes from the park. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next volcano expedition. Thanks Lokahi Lodge! "

I strongly recommend a stay here if the Volcano National Park is in your plans. …or one could choose to stay at Volcano House for hundreds of dollars more plus having to buy all your meals! We were very pleased with Jungalo Bungalow!"
