"Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. "

"The property was great. The kids stayed in the loft and the adults all had their own room in the main living space. The kitchen and house were well equipped. We loved the proximity to Blowing Rock and Boone. The kids especially loved walking down to check out the goats in the neighboring farm. Thanks for being great hosts."

"With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!"

"We really enjoyed the cabin a lot of history in the cabin. The view and the wildlife was amazing. The walk we took thru the woods and to the creek was delightful and a bit of a work out. The cabin is set in a beautiful place but yet close to blowing rock."

"Everything in the listing was very accurate, from the electric to the water pressure. HIGHLY recommend 4wd or awd. He's not kidding about the road. Once you drive it a couple of times, you get used to it, but there's a learning curve. The views and the quiet were outstanding. Be aware it is in the mountains, and you will see some bugs and maybe a lizard or two (that one was cute). Sunrise from the back porch was gorgeous! My only suggestions would be to make a little more space for visitors'...

"This cabin shows all the signs of being well loved. Everything guests could need has been anticipated, from a tea kettle to toilet paper. Comfortable, cozy, and spotlessly clean describes the place. Our dog even loved the lion statues out front. Last winter was especially hard on our family. We had to cancel once due to health problems, and the owner graciously helped us rearrange our plans. The opportunity to enjoy some quiet time in a charming cabin was just what we needed."

"This is a lovely cabin with a great view. It has plenty of space but still feels quaint. It has a remote feel while being close to all the things you want to do. We were there for my son’s college graduation. Wonderful hosts. Very responsive and friendly"

The area was nice and quiet - no cell service but we were able to use the provided wifi when we needed with our smart phones. The cabin is a perfect size for 2 or a small, young family.
