Location! Location! Location! Located on the edge of Boone down a private driveway on a 3-acre secluded mountainside. This light and airy cabin has been professionally decorated and equipped to make your stay extremely comfortable. Easy access to all of the area attractions including ASU, Boone, Tweetsie Railroad, all ski resorts, Blowing Rock, Banner elk, Hawksnest, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, etc. Only a few days a year will there be so much snow/ice that a 4 wheel drive, snow tires, and/or chains is recommended. In the heavy snow/ice times, you should consider purchasing the Travel Insurance offered by VRBO when making your reservation.

We loved the fireplace and the location! The beds were very comfortable. The home is very, very nice and close to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Boone. It is so private and secluded, but there is alittle bit of road noise. Light sleeps, bring your noise machine.

Christmas vacation

Perfect Cabin Stay

Very nice cabin that was exactly as described. Feels secluded with beautiful views, yet is close enough to town and area landmarks to do lots of activities. It was the perfect size place for seven of us. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Mother/Daughter Weekend Spot

We rented this cabin for our first annual Mother/Daughter weekend with our freshman App State Students. This cabin was beautiful, super convenient and close to everything in Boone! The space was perfect for us, open kitchen for cooking, living room up and downstairs for playing games and doing puzzles. Lots of sleeping room with comfortable beds. All in all this was exactly what we needed and wanted for our weekend. We definetley will book this cabin again!

This beautiful home was perfectly located in Boone. We loved staying just outside of town. It was quiet and peaceful but close enough to all Boone and surrounding areas have to offer. A quick weekend in Boone!

Myself and a small group of App State Alums used this space for a weekend football game. Check in and check out was very easy, the beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the cabin was so cozy and warm! We enjoyed the beautiful views and easy access to downtown Boone. This was a beautiful cabin. We immediately felt at home. It was relaxing with a wonderful view of nature and easy access to a main road into town. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close by. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice little getaway.

Well located and beautiful

Enjoyed this beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked cabin. Near to where we wanted to visit. Had problem with gas logs and owner was working on their repair. Mainly warm week so we really didn't need them. Not sure about the Christmas decorations already out and didn't like the proximity to Highway. But would highly recommend for those folks especially there for Boones and ASU activities.

A mountain cabin welcome

The lodging was extraordinary in appearance, warmth, and comfort. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice. The master bedroom was well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen well-supplied as well as other rooms. The interior design really jived with the October fall colors. Quite surprising that it was somewhat dressed up ready for Christmas. The outdoor area reflected the mountains theme. Only drawback was the road noise coming from Hwy 105.

We had a wonderful time visiting our daughter. This property is beautiful. The owners paid alot of attention to decorating detail. It is very close to App campus. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept great. Check in wasn’t great. We drove 10 hours and weren’t permitted to check in 30 minutes early. Also, the driveway is very tricky. Narrow and difficult visability. Just be prepared . We did get used to it. All in all would highly recommend as long as you are comfortable with the driveway. Beautiful property.
