"Great property overlooking across the river across the street. Wonderful views from the large deck and the house was very clean and comfortable. Would def stay here again. The driveway is really steep! Be mindful if you have a low car."

"This was an amazing cabin in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what I was looking for. I brought my son up to tour Appalachian State and we wanted a place we could bring our dogs and just get away from the chaos of our busy schedules. This cabin was absolutely amazing. It had comfortable beds, a large wraparound porch with rocking chairs, a hot tub right outside the master bedroom, updated amenities, and a ripping creek right by the property. My dogs were able to play in the water dry off on the porch and just run around and explore nature. The host was super friendly and available. We had a little snag when we got there as the power went out about five minutes after we had walked in the door. We did have to drive down to get signal, but she immediately answered the phone and called the power company and contacted us right back and they had power on within 30 minutes. I could not recommend this place more and we will definitely be back."

"I’ve been in Sparta many times but never stayed overnight. The Inn is a little vintage but with some updates and clean! Great value especially if you’re doing Parkway activities. I would not think twice about booking there again. Sparta has some excellent comfort food venues and the Bluffs restaurant on the Parkway is worth it with food and ambience. We’ve been going to the Bluffs for 40 years (except when they were renovating and COVID). Please go treat yourself to both! We actually stayed at the Bluffs Lodge twice before it closed. Slow down and go enjoy Sparta and the Bluffs restaurant."

"Wonderful house right on the river. The house is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay in a beautiful area of Todd. We enjoyed grilling, sitting by the firepit, river tubing, and kayaking. The house also has an amazing game room in the basement. We will definitely be back!"
