The rooms were very nice, modern and well equipped. The location of the property however was not in a very nice area of Townsville.

It was like a home away from home I enjoyed it. The accommodation was comfortable. I would have liked single beds.

Have stayed before. Booked the room got turned away this time for being local. In a town ravaged by drugs FROM OUTSUDE OF TOWN, you dont look after your. Kindly, shut down.

One of the reasons that I choose this hotel was for the continental breakfast, but they gave me nothing. Also, the kettle was dirty with mould, so I couldn’t even drink a coffee.

When we got there the staff didn't know anything about it being booked through Wotif. We only stayed one night instead of 2 because the job was finished early, We paid for the one night but had to pay 100 dollars deposit for the key and they said it would be back in our account in 4 days. Its now been seven days and nothing. To top it of Wotif billed out account for 2 days after we got back so basically we have been ripped of. Will deal direct from now with Motels

Nice cheap hotel but the security bond is a pain
Was handy to the Cowboys Stadium and booking in at the gaming room wasn't too inconvenient. Biggest issue was wanting the $100 security deposit in cash and not being able to get it back until 10am when the hotel opened. Not one for the early starter or the card user. Communal Bathroom was as expected for a Hotel.

Poor. $100 deposit for the key (cash or charged to your credit card, supposedly refunded on checkout). Credit card detals also taken and openly recorded on an unsecure database. Forced to sign some kind of contract that they obviously figure entitles them to defraud the credit card company for damage fees. Flood light right outside window. No water in the room, had to fill jug from a communal shower. Very odd set up, clearly experienced with problem guests. All the reasons in the world not to recommend anyone stays here. Getting the key deposit tirned out to be just the saga that was accepted. You either need to stay until 10am to check out and get it done then. If you have to leave b4 10 you're at their mercy as to when/if they process the refund. I had to call and prompt them only to be told it will take 5-7 days gor me to see the money. Expedia should not be supporting this hotel. Bad practices are being imposed on Expedia customers.

No water in the room, had to fill jug from shower. I'm not sure there were pillows in the cases, just seme-thick pillow cases I think. Very odd set up, clearly experienced with problem guests. All the reasons in the world not to recommend anyone stays here. Getting the key refund is something of a problem. You can't checkont until staff arrive at 10am but if you leave earlier they eventually pay you back. I had to phone up and regardless it'll take 5-7 days to see the money again. This hotel should not be on Expedia its a bad advert all round for the hospitality industry.

The room was average, no ensuite, expensive , they call it a motel but I'd describe it as a backpackers, had to leave a $100 key deposit and they had a computer problem and held the deposit as they didn't think I'd paid. I had to return 3 days later to collect the deposit once they'd sorted themselves out. I arrived it still took almost 30min to get the deposit back as nobody knew what was going on. Very poor experience.

Not what is stated on your site, you stated that breakfast is included and it didn't. Not happy about the fact that we had to go elsewhere to get breakfast when it said breakfast was included and that was the only reason we booked this place. Not happy to recommend this place to anyone. Not happy with the room either, was uncomfortable and only had a double bed not even a queen bed and was for 2 ppl? Will not be staying here again and I suggest you take it off your site

Had a bad experience with dealing with the check in and charging system at the hotel. Paid for the booking on Wotif - has to pay 100$ key bond !!!! - and then got charged twice = $352 on my credit card !- which they refused to accept responsibility for until 2 weeks later. it is all fixed now.

Cheap, clean & tidy accommodation
We stayed 2 nights, the room was clean & quiet, & we never had any issues with sharing the toilet & shower facilities. The staff were friendly & helpful. We got to enjoy a meal in the tavern which was fantastic also. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family the next time they're travelling to Townsville.
