Great location. Older style building. Rooms very small and basic but nice views. Kitchenette very small with microwave no oven. Small fridge. Veey noisy next to lifts - hear them going up and down all the time. Other end would be quieter

Over rated, stated it was executive deluxe supreme, this was a queen sized room very hard bed no comfort at all. The renovations were 20 years ago. Rooms were nit cleaned as it was a public holiday but were chatged holiday rates. The views are the only positive.

The view was what I really enjoyed. Just sitting on the small balcony was lovely. Was close to eating places and the Strand walk is always lovely. The bathroom needs to be updated a little as our bathtub was slightly cracking.

The accommodation is in a great location and within walking distances to a range of eating establishments. The rooms are clean and tidy but a bit dated but the awesome views made up for that. I didn't like that I had to park away from accommodation as the car park was full.

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback! Sorry, our car parking is limited. It's first in for the spaces. We have 158 units and less than 70 parking spaces. We have the continual challenge of locals using parking spaces to visit local attractions but not staying here at Aquarius. We are looking at solutions to stop this.

The receptionist (Shane) was quite unpleasant and not very welcoming. Had no customer service skills and obviously did not want to be there, I have been in customer service for a very long time (resort management) and a smile and a hello does not take a lot of effort.

Great location right on the strand, had an excellent view from our room. Close to restaurants - recommend the Seaview Hotel for dinner and we went to The Happy Place for breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Would stay here again.

The rooms were nice and spacious, and all the amenities were clean and tidy. Both of our rooms had a lovely view overlooking the ocean and The Strand. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Aquarius on the Beach is a “Strata-titled” complex, meaning that all units are individually owned. We are working with the owners to get these up to standard as soon as possible.

Hotel is in a great location with restaurants in easy walking distance. On site parking was appreciated and after hours check in/out was straightforward. The building is old and tired and everything looks like it needs a good scrub. Room was a decent size but walls are very thin - we could audibly hear every word uttered in the room nextdoor. Ocean views are incredible but balcony is not usable due to being so narrow and mostly taken up by aircon unit. A solid 3 star hotel but definitely not the 4 stars advertised.
