"Very nicely appointed hotel. Rooms are nice, some may say small but fit us well. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and the lotions and soaps were amazing. A couple hiccups. When we checked in, we were told we had only held the room and were charged the room fee plus $150 security deposit. We had already paid the room so once brought to the front desk’s attention, they said if it was ok it was stay on and then fall off with the security deposit. Luckily that was an option and it did come off. Other negative are the room doors. You hear them closing every time while you’re in your room. It’s loud and you can hear the noise in the room. Also if your neighbours are loud, you will hear them. We could hear the ladies across the hall, and they were in and out quite a bit. So it was constant slamming for about an hour until we finished getting ready and left. "

"Very old and dated hotel for the price. Great location and close to everything downtown but the 30 year old carpet and bachelor size bathrooms need serious upgrading. "

"Perfectly situated to walk to dinner and a concert at Massey Hall. New, clean, well appointed king room. Comfortable bed with ability to cast to TV from phone. It was great!"

"Suites were beautiful and roomy and staff were friendly and helpful. My only two complaints is that there is no hotel bar and the other is that a blanket message went out during my stay basically telling people not to have parties and nobody will be allowed in who isn’t a registered guest (basically don’t go out and bring anyone back). You can always deal with parties as they happen - sending a warning to all guests was kind of off putting and unprofessional for the hotel to do. A highlight for me was the gym and hot tub on the top floor! "
