Hostels in Ontario

"Had to stay a couple weeks as an emergency. First started in the ladies dorm, I didn't find the bathrooms/showers very tidy. The moved to the big co-ed dorms. Bathrooms and showers there much better. I also didn't feel uncomfortable leaving my items in the room. Never had an issue w staff, all were very helpful and accommodating It gets messy because honestly it's sharing with so many different people going through things. Kitchen always full but was very homely. It's fine for staying one night...

"Had an authentic jail experience without committing crimes. The hotel is very clean and staff is helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the jail tour to understand the history of the hostel. Location is super convenient as all places worth visiting are at a walkable distance. "

"Very good hostel. Clean, tidy and friendly staffs, free-to-use kitchen, funny common area. Please note that you need to bring your own slippers, as they don't provide. I will live here again next time I'm in Ottawa."
