This hotel was very bare bones but gave us everything we were looking for in terms of a clean, comfortable bed, quiet room, shower facilities, and a little bite to eat in the morning. We were basically there to sleep.

It is a simple, value based motel. Room and entire facility was clean, staff was friendly, and it met our needs. The "free breakfast" was not the expected continental breakfast bar, but a much more simple boxed breakfast. The first day it consisted of a granola bar, an small apple, and a juice box. The second day there was also a croissant and two jam packets and when I commented on not getting that the 1st day I was told they had run out of croissants. The third day there was also a small orange, but the "juice" box was a juice cocktail and not real juice. The forth day was like the third, but it was real juice again. The last day, there was no orange and no jam. Given we got a room with a fridge, we didn't rely on the breakfast, so it was not a big issue, but don't expect it to be more than a light snack. Again, it met our needs, was clean and inexpensive, and conveniently located to it was perfectly adequate.

What we liked: The place is pet-friendly with no extra pet fee, the staff were very friendly, it was clean, and we felt safe during our stay. They also offer free breakfast and coffee, which was a nice bonus. Things to note: It’s a bit far from downtown Toronto, especially with traffic. Overall: A nice, budget-friendly place to stay.

Rooms are smaller than usual but at the end it does the job and you can stay in decent night's Clean rooms and washrooms but not enough shampoos and towels. But overall motel 6 was better than some other places we tried before.
