This House is very nice, modern, clean and comfortable. The location is a 5 min walk to the Beach and very popular Tay St Coffee Shop. This beautiful house exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book it again and recommend it to our friends and family. One very small correction that could help is the VRBO location which calls the house TAY STREET BEACH VIBE when in fact it's on Valley Rd.

Yes, the house is named after the beach which is called Tay Street Beach, just a 5 minute walk away :) We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay.

Good location
Place was clean and tidy. 10 mins walk to the beach. Our daughter enjoyed the puzzles and beach toys. 2 minute drive to supermarket and shops. Good showers. Internal access to the garage. Racks to hang clothes on. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge.

Perfect place for our stay

Wonderful home
The home is exactly as described, very fresh, up-to-date and super clean. We loved the ten minute walk to the amazing beach and the general vibe of the area, as well as the ability to simply hang out and read in the lovely back yard. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone.

Great house for a family holiday
We had a great stay with our children and the grandparents. House had everything we needed and suited us well. Nice short walk to the beach next to the lifeguard tower. Supermarket also a walk or short drive away!

A lovely beach house
We had a great weekend away in the Mount celebrating New Years and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Helen’s beach house is clean, comfy and in a great location in Mount Maunganui. This house is so well equipped for everything you need for a summer holiday at the beach!

Awesome property which we thoroughly enjoyed for 4 nights - very close and convenient to everything! Helen was a great host and keeps the property in mint condition. Modern clean bathrooms and lovely bedrooms. Will definitely be back and likely stay longer next time!

Home away from home
Helen’s place has everything I was looking for. It was pristine, comfortable, elegant, and well-equipped. The location couldn’t be more perfect for enjoying and exploring The Mount. It was an easy two blocks to the beach, two blocks to the grocery, and a fifteen minute walk to town. I was visiting my niece and her family and Helen’s house was perfect for an informal dinner with the kids. I would recommend the Tay Street Beach Vibe House to any and all.

Good location in Tauranga
Cute house, lots of amenities nearby. Property owners were very communicative and helpful. Good access to beach, Mt (great hike), restaurants, etc. One small challenge was the narrow driveway and the setback of the house - feels like you are in a bowl amongst adjacent property. There was also Some construction noise one morning around 4:30am. Not the property owners fault, but definitely unwelcome.

We love the location too. Our brother-in-law has a large campervan so he has to be careful when backing that down the driveway.

Perfect beach stay
We had a few needs for our stay (e.g. fully fenced with two young children, no stairs, not on busy road, etc). Helen’s house ticked all the boxes and was very conveniently located for us to enjoy all Mount Maunganui and surrounds has to offer. The property was very neatly presented and Helen responded quickly when we needed to get in touch. Would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing family holiday in Mount Maunganui. Perfect Place to Catch up with Friends
We had a lovely time, it was a perfect place to catch up with friends from Hawkes Bay and the Coromandel. The house was ideal, with nice bedrooms and lovely flow from the kitchen through the dining room and into the lounge. The house was easy walking to the cafe and beach. Very clean and tidy, thank you.

A lovely spacious home

Spacious, quiet, clean, and comfy near the beach
Helen was a great host. She responded right away and gave clear instructions for getting into the property. The house met all our needs, was whisper quiet, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The water pressure in the showers was great. The sofas were all lazy boy style. The house is located 2 blocks from the beach, which has a couple of good cafes and a patrolled beach with changing facilities. It's not right in the central area, however it's only about a 30 min walk to the Mount. There are shops and cafes on the main road, about a 5-10min walk. The town has loads of scooters around and the house had 1 bike, though we didn't use it.

Exceptional Accimmodation
The property was as described on the Stayz website, but was much higher quality than we anticipated. The host was wonderful with communication and the house was beautifully appointed. We didn't get to utilise the lovely outdoors areas as the weather was not condusive to this, but it did not deter us from enjoying every comfort the house provided.

Great home away from home
We had a great stay and felt relaxed from the moment we walked in the door. Helen and Bryan were great hosts and were accommodating of our requests without any hassle. The house is very comfortable with everything you need for a great stay (including super comfy beds) and the fenced back yard and toy basket were great for our toddler. It's clear that this is a well-loved family home and not just a cheap rental. We'll definitely be back!

We love staying at the Tay Street Beach Vibes house. It is so close to the beach, downtown Mount and Blake park. The Mount is a beautiful place I would recommend everyone visit and the house was very cosy, clean and well equipped. Highly recommend and hope to book it again ourselves one day.

A well present family home.
We were a group of four friends in Tauranga for the ANZEG Conference and classes. We had plenty of room in this well presented house.The kitchen was very usable with modern appliances. It would also be a great place to stay for a family.
