"Great spa facilities. Quiet lication to catch up with rest and also the building was not noisy in the bed areas. Loved the policy to be able to breakfast in the hotel dressing gowns or one's sports wear.The gardens made it for us. Very botanical with lots to spot and history. Great walks just beyond the gardens if you wish to walk off the calories! Dinner menu wasn't great so we ate out each night, including one at the very good Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant in the village. Breakfast was ample...

Breakfast was very good but though I’d suggest they change is their breakfast bacon supplier - it was fatty and greasy. I’ve stayed at The Angel a few times now and each time it has been a very pleasurable experience."
