"The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We had everything we needed. Location is peaceful and idyllic on the lake and is really easy to get to. We felt safe and secure behind the gates. The bed was super comfortable and the house was super clean. "When it says “ Sea View” it means it . Clear view of the bay all the way to the Port of Felixstowe. Very close ( 100 metres) to the beach but on a quiet campus away from the noisy seaside “ attractions “. It is the old Sanitorium to the now closed Felixstowe College. As such the doors and corridors are wide and the rooms spacious. Each room has a door onto the private patio. The rest of the campus seems to be posh flats . We weren’t disturbed at all and the natives seemed friendly. Dad is 92...

"Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again."

"Every room was immaculately clean and tastefully dressed. The cupboards were well stocked with more than enough for 4 people. The weather was not good to us but would imagine in the spring/summer the outside space would add to the enjoyment of staying here. Will return to find out!"
