"The location of the house was a short walk from the train station. The neighbourhood felt safe and clean. The house itself was well looked after and clean. "This hotel worked for our short 3 day stay. The staff was great and very friendly. The room was in good shape and as described. I filtered my hotel search to include AC so beware it doesn’t have AC or a working elevator. The front desk and owner told us it was getting fixed the next day after we checked. It was not so FYI. We didn’t take advantage of that in house breakfast. We just went to the bakery across the street. I wound close by saying this is a good hotel not great. "
"We had a problem our first night with the shower. The staff were so friendly, helpful and apologetic. Unfortunately they couldn’t fix it and they didn’t have the same or similar room available to move to that would have enough space for all of us…so they put aside a room just two doors down for us to use for showers. Not ideal but they were so accommodating that it really was no issue!
Would definitely recommend to stay here if you will be in Southampton for a few nights. Staff is excellent, especially Reece and the area is so walkable it was great! "

My only niggle is that the architect over-complicated the lighting system. Our room had 9 light switches (excluding the one for the bathroom) and it was impossible for us to turn off the dimmed light in the entrance hall area - no matter what switch combo we tried. My son and his gf had the same issue in their room. "
"Great experience staying here. The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable. There’s a small store nearby for some necessities, and more extensive shopping is just a 15-minute walk mostly through a park. We ate at least one meal there each day, and the food was very good. All in all, a very nice place. We would definitely stay there again."
