Walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, British Museum, etc. The Hotel is old, but beautiful, and completely updated. It even has a free laundromat. The breakfast is well worth the extra fee. It's not the least expensive hotel in London ($300-$400 p/n), but it is typical for a nice hotel in a good neighborhood, in a large tourist city.
