"The Sandpiper Lodge exceeded my expectations. The rooms are big and clean and comfortable and it was quieter than I would've thought, considering it was fully booked. Sean the manager was a true gentleman and he gave me many tips and helped me out by booking other nights I had not considered. It's within walking distance of many convenient places, and the bus stop is pratically in front. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed a nice September weekend at Mar Monte. The staff were wonderful: friendly & helpful. I'm from out of State, and found the fresh produce in the restaurants to be outstanding, along with good service. The room was comfortable - firm mattress, with a soft pillow-top, soft pillow, good temperature. They do have a primitive cooling system, which is rather loud. Bathroom & shower were clean & good. The hotel is right across the street from a clean and well maintained beach - safe for walking any time of day. I'd happily stay here again next visit."

"Had a great stay for our anniversary. They were kind to give us a free upgrade and the room was very spacious and clean. I didn’t find the bed and pillows to be the most comfortable but I also recognize I am very selective about my pillows. Lol The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect, walkable to everything we wanted! The only downside which didn’t bother us too much but I could see it bothering others, was the bar downstairs/next-door which is very loud. "
