"At first site as you enter the building it looked a little dated and need refurbing. I think they are in process of doing this as i could smell paint on my floor. The room was pleasant, although the draws were worn. The mattress was extremely thin and as soon as you sat on it you were on the base. They did offer to move me rooms at first but the hotel was full. Food was good and decent portions in the bar. Breakfast was decent although for £12.50 could of offer pastries etc "

"The hotel was very well presented in a scruffy and disappointing town. The quality of the catering at the hotel was exceptional. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in an hotel in a very long time. Tea , coffee, sugar also free to use. Everything in good working order & clean. Just round corner from main town so very accessible however a bit noisy from pubs but we sleep with ear plus anyway so never heard anything once in bed. Communication throughout was exemplary "
