"Lobstone Cottage is in a wonderful location - a paradise for all walkers! We hardly used our car all week. The cottage is comfortable and homely - all we needed. While the front is directly on the narrowest bit of the road going through Rosthwaite, that didn’t bother us. There is no traffic at night - from 8pm it was very quiet, and the first signs of life in Borrowdale were when farm vehicles started to come through around 7am. Would we go back again - yes, indeed! "What a perfect location. It's in the middle of nowhere which suited us perfectly. The caravan is situated right next to a small stream, which was so peaceful to sit and listen to. It had everything we needed. No hoover though. If we had of known we would of taken our own because of the dogs. A couple of lights didn't work but it wasn't an issue. We really didn't want to come home. Great destination for some beautiful walks."

"This cottage is very spacious with 4 double bedrooms, with a huge kitchen and other large rooms downstairs plus a large patio. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery, cutlery, and all sorts of cooking equipment - easily the best cottage we've come across for these things. The location is great for access to the hills and although you can walk to Keswick or an eatery, you'll probably need to drive for the most part.
