"The whole experience was brilliant, from the welcome we got and great local tips, to the accommodation and breakfast. It was such a peaceful place to stay and we would highly recommend it. In particular, the staff were friendly and super helpful."
"Beautiful location with sea views, this property was comfortable, with every amenity that you would need, except for staff. The property is unmanned except for a lovely cleaner. The main property is quite a walk, and that property is staffed.
If you’re after a self serve kind of place, that is comfortable and beautiful right on the ocean, this is perfect. I would stay here again."
"As i was a solo traveller i had the room for one night only ,very tidy ,very friendly and really clean i would go back again the overall experience was perfect. "
"Room a bit tired but doesn't detract from the enoyment of the stay. Room and bathroom spacious and the bed was comfortable, perfect for after hiking up Scafell Pike. Good, hearty food and friendly staff. Perfect for what we needed."
"All over it was a good property to stay with my family. Living room is bit packed with dining table and chairs. There wasn't any tea bags/coffee or suger, luckily there is a shop 1 min walk managed to buy some. First time we used the cooker spider came out from cooker hood. Wasn't the best experience but it was funny."

"A quirky place to stay but ideal for access to the Ravenglass railway. Park at the hotel and a 2 minute walk to the train.. Pub with good restaurant 1 minute walk away. Great breakfast at the nearby hotel. Tiny village but great views"
"We loved it here. The grounds had everything for us especially the walks and the play sites for our daughter. Staff were really friendly and we will be back. Even our dog loved it. "
