A very nice short stay.

Even though the hotel is under refurbishment it did not detract from our stay. Room was nice and the food was excellent and great value. Staff were very pleasant.

Great hotel

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel, although theres ongoing work been carried out this didn't affect our stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel will be superb once all the work is completed and we will look forward to returning once this is done.

We enjoyed revisiting Hunday. Our last visit was 9 years ago. I was a little disappointed to see Haigh Whisky is no longer served. When we first stayed here, Barry introduced me to Haigh cocktails. We will revisit when the hotel refurbishment is complete.

While there were renovations being undertaken they in no way impeded our stay. It was a lovely two night visit and would stay again.

Great find

Renovations had started which I was warned about. Excellent service, nice room (did sound like the people in the next room were using my bathroom at night), sound proofing is my only complaint. Fantastic staff, great food and decent location.

Beautiful building. Room was very cold, shower was very not good, impossible to get the temperature correct, very hot then dry cold. The food was fantastic and the team in the restaurant were equally as great, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely view from the hotel and great country location.

The room was decent size. The mattress needs changing immediately as it made my spine bend and I am not heavy!! Breakfast was very good with good vegetarian choices. Well inside the main road so it was quiet.

Perfect little break

It was a 2 hour+ drive but so well worth it. It's a lovely old building with stunning views over fields to the sea. Beautiful warm weather for early March so we sat outside with a bottle of wine and watched the sunset. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We had bed breakfast and evening meal. The food was excellent, freshly made from a very appetising menu. Large, comfortable, well-appointed bedroom with en suite. We had a peaceful sleep, as it was lovely and quiet. Well priced, great value for money. We are hoping to return very soon.

The room we were in was not very comfortable the bed was old and small The tv was small The step from the shower was far to high with no grab handle The stairs were to far steep The dining staff always seemed to have some drama going on We decided to book out a day early the reception didn’t even bother to ask why , gave me the impression that they were quite used to this practice Will definitely never return to the Hunday and will seriously consider whether I will use your booking site again Apologies we weren’t happy.

Two day break

Stayed for two nights lovely place very clean .it's in the process of being returned and what had been done looked very good .breakfast was excellent and all the staff we came across were very helpful and friendly.would definitely go back and recommend it .lovely couple of days
