"Wonderful cute historic hotel at the edge of Downtown area of SLO. Rooms were very well maintained and very "historic" in appearance with wrought iron bedframes and plaid furniture. We had a cute fireplace and sitting area. They have a restaurant on property but not included in the room. They do charge for parking. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. The setting is beautiful with an Old Mill and working waterwheel on the property with creek in back. They have a wine social hour every afternoon which is very nice added touch. The cookies at check-in were also very yummy."

"One of the most beautiful settings for a hotel. Above the bluffs with caves and beaches below. Trails above the bluffs and stairs down to the beach. It seems to be a bird sanctuary with all types of amazing birds just feet from you on the cliff and rocks in water. If we weren't staying here we would make a day trip to visit here. Thursdays they have a truly wonderful singer in the evening/late afternoon and a local winery provides wine tasting. They include an amazing breakfast with small omelets and waffles and cereal and fruit, etc. They have a nice pool and hot tub. The rooms are spacious and most have spectacular views. The staff, especially Martin at the front desk, were extremely friendly and helpful. If you are in Pismo beach area do not pass up the opportunity to stay at this wonderful Inn!"

"The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Not a modern hotel but the location and clean room make it a great option for staying a few days. Close to the the pier, shops, and restaurants, too!"

"Seems homeless people are taking over smoking outside the rooms making noise all hours of the night 2 to 4 AM bicycles no smoking on property yet they smoking right outside the rooms"

"Loved the hotel was near everything we wanted to see and do. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was wonderfull. The staff kept everything full and hot. We will be staying here again next time we're in town."

"I think it’s a fine hotel for the price. Love the pool and the spa, nice size rooms. I would definitely stay there again. Much better than all the other hotels in its price range. San Luis Obispo is extremely overpriced in most of their hotels."
