"Every time we travel to SoCal by car, we make it a point to stop at the Apple Farm. They're hotel and restaurant were always something we looked forward to. This time was different. The hotel is still the same (great service and great rooms), but the restaurant has gone downhill. It's under new management and all the charm is lost. No more pies, no more cute trinkets and overcooked underwhelming food. That hometown feel has been replaced with corporate sameness. Go for the hotel and skip the restaurant."

"Great stay overall, and location is the highlight. Direct beach access via stairs and guest-only restrooms made beach time very convenient. The pool area is nice, the hotel layout feels open and relaxing, and we enjoyed the included breakfast plus extras like Wine Wednesday and morning yoga on select days. ChargePoint stations onsite were also convenient. We initially booked a no-view room, but the front desk was very helpful and suggested waiting for a partial ocean view, which was worth it. A few notes: water pressure is low as mandated by Pismo Beach (fine for brushing teeth and quick showers, but tougher for long hair - my workaround was a quick $12 shampoo at Supercuts in SLO). The AC unit was older and very loud when it kicked on, though mild coastal weather meant we didn’t need it overnight. Would definitely return!"
