"Well located hotel for a relaxing weekend gateway from busy LA. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with lovely balconies overviewing the ocean. Staff was friendly and professional and even gave a holiday surprise to our pup! We did not use the pool so I could not rate it. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed but there were other options walking distance, plus the hotel is two freeway exits to downtown Pismo. Overall, a very pleasant stay and an excellent value for the price. We will definitely be back."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our visit. The free bicycle rentals were a great bonus and made getting around even more fun. One of our favorite parts was falling asleep to the sound of the waves all night—such a relaxing and soothing experience for me and my friends. I’m especially grateful to the staff for going above and beyond after my stay. I accidentally left behind a blanket that was very important to me (a gift from my 8-year-old niece), and the team contacted me quickly and arranged to have it shipped back to me. That level of care truly meant a lot. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding service!"

"Very friendly service, including at breakfast. Manager’s reception with free drink was well attended each of the two nights we were there. Room spoless. Very dog friendly. There’s access to a natural area going down to the creek at the end of the hotel which was nice for walks with our dog. "
