I booked a room with a garden view and my view was the parking lot where the resort staff parks for work. So my view was about 50 motor bikes imagine being waken up by the noise. The rooms are trash and need updated work suck as paint etc…I already woke up to motor bike noise then to my suprise I wake up and my room smells like sewage. Come to find out the toilet backed up and they had to come and change the filter…I went to the front desk and demanded that they give me a new room and the front desk clerk Odalys is very rude and disrespectful… she did not want to help and rolled her eyes plenty of times..needless to say I won’t be coming back to this resort … look out for my TikTok and YouTube review which will have pictures of everything I’m stating. Also Christian front desk supervisor wasn’t no help I believe he is a racist. One good thing the dining staff and bar staff are top tier .

We travel to Cancun every year and have stayed at Live Aqua for the 6th time this year. We tried other resorts in the past but Live Aqua is definitely better than the others, when comparing the overall price to the quality of the food (and all the options of restaurants on property), rooms, pool area, service, beach area, etc. What stands out most is the HIGH quality of the service and friendliness! The location is great being right across the street from the mall and very close vicinity to great restaurants, in case you'd like to leave the resort. The ONLY thing that could use improvement is updating the lobby/common areas. Not "bad" by any means. In fact, I'd give everything and staff a 5+ star and the feel of the lobby/common areas a 4 star.

Second year staying here, it’s a very nice place, place is clean, family friendly and plenty of food options.

Food was fair. The beach really wasn't great because if the seaweed...but woukd have been nice. There was a great snack bar "vistas" that was excellent. We accidentally got to eat there one day because they didn’t catch that we weren't staying at the "serenity level". We didn’t realize either but were told we couldn't eat there again. I really think thats not fair. We had upgraded our room, but not to serenity level. I feel we should have been able to use that snack bar as well.
