"This was a fantastic place for an overnight stay. Centrally-located for the wedding we were attending in town. Incredibly clean and all staff we met were very friendly and welcoming. Really good vibes. Don't let the older facade put you off. Very newly renovated inside. Found the AC a little tough to get right but not a big deal. I'm an early riser (6 am) so would have appreciated earlier access (or in room access) to getting my tea but, again, not a huge deal."

"We booked a "last-minute" room for the Apr. 8/24 Total Eclipse of the Sun. This is a "Highway Motel," but the Owner keeps it in excellent condition - and the adjacent Restaurant serves EXCEPTIONALLY good food. "Country Portions," piled high on the plate and DELICIOUS. Thanks to the Wainfleet, I got to see a Total Eclipse I'd waited 63 years to view. HIGHLY recommended."

"Bait and switch! I thought this was part of the Budget Inn chain so I was expecting no frills but clean. This place had no maid service. No soap. No shampoo. Blood spatter on the bathroom ceiling. Lipstick (I hope!) on the washcloth. No bed springs - just a foam mattress on a piece of plywood and hard as a rock. Noisy AC which didn't work well. Toilet barely flushed. They didn't have the room with two beds I reserved, so they gave me an extra room at no charge, and then called me after 10 pm to...
