"We had a wonderful week at Merry Light Cove cottage. The spot was absolutely beautiful with a quiet sandy beach just a few steps away and an amazing view of Lake Huron sunsets. Lonely Island beach was a short 2 minute drive or a lovely 10 minute stroll. These beaches are perfect for kids as they are shallow and our kids loved walking out far from the shoreline. "We spent 2 nights at this lovely house for a family gathering celebrating a birthday. There were 11 in total and we did not feel crowded at any time. The pool and lower recreation room are perfect to keep the kids happy and entertained without them being on their electronic devices. The beds are very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add a few pillows on the couch and some more comfortable outside chairs. Maybe a gate at the top of the outside stairs to keep the dogs from leaving...
