Khaosan in Northern Kyoto from NZ$82

This is the most amazing little hotel we ever stayed at and we do travel a lot. Our superior room was big compared to the average Japanese hotel room and the bathroom was very modern. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful - special thanks to the chef who realised that we did not really eat much of our Japanese breakfast and made us a more European style breakfast the next day with coffee!!! We did not expect this so “arigato”

We loved this place. So beautiful, clean and spacious. Our apartment was a great size for our family of four. The hotel is small so not too many people and breakfast had some nice selections of food. It is about a 3 min walk to a train station and only 10 mins to Nishiki Market. There is a 7/11 and Family mart within 3 mins from the hotel for anything you need. Recommend this. If we come back to Kyoto we will definitely stay hear again.

The room was really nice. Very spacious and beautifully designed. Our room appeared to be one of two rooms overlooking a car park but that didn’t bother us. It was a bonus to be able to log in to Netflix at the end of long days touring and making use of the hotel’s happy hour between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. There’s easy access to their garden. We didn’t eat at their restaurant and the breakfast option did seem a bit pricey. All staff were very friendly and professional. We would definitely stay...

Absolutely beautiful hotel , the service is great , there is a beautiful onsen and a delicious free snack bar . The hotel has a.well equipped gym and several laundry machines , it is not.very central but it is not far away either from the main attractions , plus there js a subway station only few meters away . Highly recommended it

It was quiet away from the main streets and convenient with the subway at the doorsteps.

Beautiful property, well-located next to subway and short walk to downtown and Gion. Rooms decent size and very comfortable beds. Staff lovely. Overall great stay.
