My wife and I were greeted by Brian who helped us with our luggage from the car park to Hazel-Nut cottage. Being the wrong side of seventy was very much appreciated. Brian gave us a very comprehensive brief of the layout and amenities, also a very detailed joining folder which we used considerably very useful for our successful stay at the cottage. "Our room was modern and very well presented, check in was fine and parking convenient and reasonably priced. Main areas need an update or refurb (which seems to be happening currently)but overall good value for money"

"Great experience from check-in to check-out. Friendly, happy welcome and easy check-in. Room excellent (would be great for young families), really good buffet breakfast (not always a fan of buffet style breakfasts, but cooked food was good quality). Comfortable bed, quiet and had good night’s sleep. Lots of parking. Lots to like at good price."
