Bed and Breakfast in Rugby

"Quite simply, BRILLIANT! Set in a beautiful country location this hotel is so peaceful, yet only a few minutes drive from the NEC, Meriden and the motorway network. Every member of staff is polite, courteous and helpful. The whole hotel has a certain opulence. The rooms are a good size without being too large, have comfortable beds, sumptuous pillows and the bathrooms are all with a bath and shower and pleasant for a good soak. Always there is hot water with no running problems. The rooms are well lit. Fully lined curtains ensure a good night's sleep. The tv has high and clear definition. There is a decent kettle and coffee, tea, sufficient milk and biscuits are supplied. There is a largish desk with a smoked glass top, two pleasant easy chairs accompanied by a small round table, not to mention the standard lamp close by. Everywhere is very clean and the hotel always smells nice. I usually eat in the bar and have always had first class meals. There is a good range of beers too. The bar is a very pleasant informal place to eat and relax after a day out. The breakfasts are very comprehensive and nicely cooked. There is an array of cereals, full English breakfast, full range of croissants, muffins, fruit. good choice of coffee, fruit juices and tea. The restaurant is most pleasant. There is a lift -no lugging cases upstairs.Pleasant secure carpark.No noise at night. Staff great. Best hotel in area. "

"If you are staying in the paddock building, there is a separate carpark closer to that building. The bar area is nice and I preferred the bar menu compared to the man restaurant. A lot cheaper as well. My room in the paddock building was great. Plenty of space, clean and they kept the natural wall as a feature as well. Comfy bed. Plenty of extras in the room such as canned water, sweets, crisps, biscuits etc. The room had a fridge as well. I booked through hotels.com £93 for a Monday night including breakfast as access to the leisure facilities. Leisure facilities had a good steam room and sauna. Two hot tubs but one isn’t working. Large pool, a little cold but good. Plenty of loungers. I didn’t use any of the other facilities such as the gym, hair salon or beauty/massage therapies. There is also plenty of seating areas around the building so you can step away and find somewhere more quiet and intimate if you don’t want to be in the main bar. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Great hotel, the room was good value the bed comfortable. The staff were helpful polite. The menu not so special, however it served a purpose. You will have to waite until exactly 7am before you are allowed in for breakfast, not so good if you need to be away early. I would recommended the hotel my experience was over-all great."
