"This hotel is transitioning ownership from Motel 6 to vagabond Inn. It is a super nice property and I imagine it is the best dollar value for the area by far. We needed a place to stay for an early morning commitment in Santa Barbara. The cheapest thing we could find in Santa Barbara was a hostel stay and that hostel stay would have been more expensive, way less private, And way louder. Very happy with this. Highly recommend."

"Stayed here for 2 nights as a solo traveler and had a great experience. The hotel is older but very well maintained, and my room was spotless. I felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. Breakfast was basic but totally fine, plus there are plenty of great food options nearby. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. Would definitely stay again!"
