"Room seemed liked it was recently refurbished, so was in good condition, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Not all areas of the hotel were in such a good condition. Our dinner in the Bar and Grill was not a good experience, with no vegan options, poor quality food, mistakes with our order, and such a long wait for our food that we were offered a free round of drinks from the bar, I wouldn't eat there again if I lived locally! There wasn't enough floor staff on duty for a very busy Saturday evening. The breakfast was fine though. Overall an ok stay, but Village Hotels would not be on my list of hotels to visit again"

"You pay for basic you get basic, that’s not a bad thing though. The hotel is clean and warm the staff are friendly and helpful, parking is easy and on site. Great view and easy to get too. I would stay here again."

"Room was clean, staff were courteous, supportive and very responsive However, some additional care and energy should be directed at overall cleanliness and upgrade of amenities. During our second stay, we had to change room as the toilet bowl in our allocated room had terrible and visible stain underneath and this caused my wife (a very clean and meticulous woman) upset. Also, the installed heater was dysfunctional and an external heater had to be brought to us Overall we were pleased "

"Pros: Parking and location. Cons: Rooms and corridors need renovation. Heating was terrible with draft coming from "Off" AC, and radiator in adequate. Hairs and generally dirty bathroom, hadn't been cleaned. Really cheap toilet paper - had to fold about 6 time to stop it disintegrating! "

"Me and my partner stayed in the suite for the night and were very pleased. The only thing we were asking was, if there was any cold beverages in the room for example if there would be some cold drinks such as cold water provided or cold refreshing fizzy drinks. Other than that we were very pleased with the condition and how cozy the stay was "

"We had an amazing stay for my partners birthday. The little touches that the hotel did were so lovely. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Make sure you eat at the Korean cowgirl as it was great potion sizes and good value for money. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the spa, if it was a bit bigger and had more loungers."
