"We travel to Belgium each year, and have always stayed at either the Premier Inn or Travelodge at Eureka Park, due to the close proximity of places to eat etc. This year we decided to try Ashford Int Hotel & Spa and we were pleasantly surprised. "You’ll never have a more higgledy piggeldy experience with a hotel than this one. But oh how it’s worth it! The buildings were built in perhaps the 1200’s, so the floors are very uneven. The rooms and baths are comfortable, the porridge for breakfast delicious and the location unbeatable. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. In short we loved it. "

"We had a 3 night stay for a short break. We had Room 4 which was small and on the A259 so there was traffic noise. If we stayed again, we would ask for a rear bedroom. Also we felt a good mirror above the hand basin in the small en suite was needed. The bed was comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good. The bar area was nice with a few separate areas to sit plus a courtyard area. The hotel was also nicely located if you wanted to take a stroll and eat...

"Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Pub staff also, and kindly gave my father no less than 5 different tasters of beers so he could decide what to drink! Lovely quirky interior - looks small from the outside but had lots of different small dining areas inside. Only tiny drawback was the very steep hill up from the rooms furthest away from reception. I hadn't seen it flagged on anything but that may have been because I used a third party site to book online"
