"An amazing hotel due to the staff, highly recommend. Housekeeping were fantastic such attention to detail for a small hotel.great location but really staff and level of service makes this hotel exceptional."
"The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was in need of some refurbishment and the shower was poor. However, Howfield Manor is a beautiful building and even in December the grounds were lovely. I would like to stay there again. "
"My husband and I had an amazing trip. Our stay was amazing. The staff were very friendly and professional. We would absolutely stay there again while visiting!"

"We stayed 7 days, and I swam 6 of those days. The other day we rode our bikes almost to Reculver Bay and so had no energy for a swim! Beach Retreat is the most beautiful chalet and we loved every minute, especially the twice daily visit from the sea as it tapped the bottom of the gorgeous wild sea garden. We walked both directions on the beach, as well as the marshes across the road. We ate most meals on the deck - at least breakfast and dinner - and seeing both sunrise and sunset from that deck was pretty special. We had a very hot week and definitely made the most of it. Special thanks to Melinda for making our holiday one not to be forgotten!"
"Couldn't fault the staff who went above and beyond our requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent ground floor accessible room.
First class breakfast included. Evening happy hour was appreciated and enjoyed.
Hotel itself is attractive and welcoming."
"Lovely relaxed atmosphere - 1 night stop over en route to the Tunnel and France with a dog. Great staff and really felt everyone wanted us to enjoy our brief stay. "
"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. The food is very much American asian infusion and is fantastic. Not massively vegan friendly menu but they made the effort to cater for me. Everyone one was really friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. They also have amazing cars if you want to be chauffeured!"
Customs House by Bloom Stays, Large house for family groups of up to 20
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful stay in Customs House in Faversham. A group of 20 people enjoying the house and the town. The house worked very well even full. We enjoyed the garden when we arrived, with pizzas from Papa Bianco and ate indoors later when the weather turned. We tested the wine bar and bought food from both the butcher and the cheese shop. Great pubs and a very nice triple market weekend. The train into Canterbury was very practical. All in all a perfect birthday celebration. "

"We had a lovely Christmas in the Old Post Office,, a lovely welcoming Christmas tree all lit up in the lounge and another in the dining room. Very tastefully decorated. Our party ranged from 2 - pensioners and accommodated all of us. Jamie was very friendly and helpful and on hand with anything we needed. "
