"Renovations were haphazardly done and dangerous (no exit signage on room door, can’t see out the window because of paint overspray, drywall dust inside bed frames, bathroom door couldn’t open all of the way because the door hit the toilet, only had hot water in bathroom). All that said, if the pricing is attractive enough to you, then it might be worth these inconveniences. Great location, perfect proximity to the beach, and staff was friendly and helpful. "

"The last day of my stay my room was not cleaned. Staff were not helpful at all. They were all doing nothing at the reception and ignored my request to ensure my room was cleaned. The only positive of this hotel is the location. The food is bad and everything is charged even the beach umbrellas. "

"Great location, a quick drive to South Miami Beach, direct beach access. I stay here for the pool area, two pools shaded by palms with a restaurant and bar poolside on the patio. The rooms start on the 8th floor, all are suites with a sitting area and 2 bathrooms. Good water pressure, and elevators are fast. Service is friendly and professional. Housekeeping is efficient and does a good job keeping the rooms clean. Be aware, this is a family hotel, there are many children of all sizes and volumes. In spite of this it's a nice place to stay, and a good value for a beach front location. "

"Partial view of the ocean. Room was clean, staff attentive. One recommendation, improve the check in process to set better expectations and communication. My room was unique and only two of them on the property. It would have been nice to know this so I could understand why it would take so long for it to come available. The room wasn’t ready on the time they specified either. Had I known that I could have planned some activity while I waited."

"The staff at front desk was incredibly rude. My guest and I were told by the waiter at the hotel restaurant that our breakfast was included in our room charge. Since we were told that, we went to breakfast again the next day. When we checked out we inquired about this and were met with extreme attitude and told WE should go speak to the waiter that told us this information. Extremely unprofessional and rude. We were also told at check about the suana and steam room on site. When we went to use them, we were told they were (and had been) broken from several days. Would never stay here again, for the price there are several hotels much nicer in terms of amenities and customer service for around the same price. "
