"This was a great place to stay, very clean, quiet, two great breakfast places very close by and 15/20 minute walk into the centre of town.
It's also walking distance to the Botanical gardens.
I was a solo traveller and felt very safe. I was also outside of the university term which may have helped it to be very quiet. For those visiting the university it's virtually on your doorstep.

"The room at Bluestone on George is gorgeous! Lots of upgrades and higher quality materials all throughout the hotel. Walking distance to shops, cafes and the Otago campus. Only downside was the nightly helicopter hovering nearby that I assume was near a hospital…it was a busy weekend unfortunately."
