Excellent apartment, very responsive and helpful staff (thanks Shelly!), easy access to town centre, good parking out front (time-limited). Area itself is OK - it's in the middle of the harbour, but close to wildlife cruise station and easy to get to Otago Peninsula.

We were impressed by the great layout and cleanliness of this small apartment, it had everything we needed and more. So close to town with free parking. A home away from home.

From initial contact to check out, our host Shelley was fantastic. The apartment itself far exceeded our expectation from it's design features, high standard of build and absolutely fully equipped. Everything we needed was there including complimentary dish soap, coffee, tea, milk, laundry tablets, utensils, dishcloths, everything. We could have moved in! Parking is much simpler than expected with free 24 hour parking within a few metres of the property but even during working hours, two hours free right outside the front door. Lift access so easy to carry bags. A Dunedin "must do", the Monarch Wildlife Cruise, leaves from the dock right opposite the front door. Dozens of restaurants and huge supermarket all within 15 mins walk or 5 min drive. Couldn't fault the place, much better than staying in dull hotel rooms!

Quirky three-level loft-style apartment with harbour views. Spotlessly clean and modern, the only downside was the ventilation during our hot weather stay, and train noise!

These apartments are of very high quality. It had all that was needed as travellers for a comfortable stay (and was the favourite of 13 different stays on the south island). The quality of sleep here was great and the furnishings were of high quality throughout. Bonus points for the heated floors in the bathroom.

I loved the industrial decor, and the distance from downtown for some quiet. The best feature is the windowless bedroom. It’s so rare to find a hotel room that can truly be pitch dark.

A comfortable apartment on three levels. Master, bathroom and laundry on the entry level with a full kitchen on the second level with the small living are on the top level. Be aware that means stairs if anyone is handicapped or has children. The apartment is heated but has no aircon for cooling the apartment in hot weather. It is located close to the railway line and the trains shunt carriages around well into the evening which can be noisy if you have the windows open. It is a 10 min walk to the city centre and close to coffee shops and restaurants. The sliding glass shower screen sticks and is very difficult to open.

A great New York loft style apartment over 3 floors. Kitchen is complete with everything you need for cooking, there is a washer and dryer and great heating for cold days. Very clean and comfortable. Overlooks the port but the only close restaurant is not open every night. A 15 min walk into town if you want to eat out.

Loved the apartment only little critique was we did not have a view, also the drain in the shower overflowed and we were hesitant to use it again after it flooded the entire bathroom. Apart from that it was a very comfortable stay.

This accommodation was an amazing find for us. Located just outside the center of Dunedin this uniquely styled two story apartment in a reclaimed factory building was just stunning. Personally we are keen on the industrial look of the apartment and the building in general. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. It was almost sad that we had to move on to continue our adventure through NZ. Everything was there in the apartment that one would need - including a full kitchen and laundry. Nice view of the harbor. We also had a walk around the building and the owners have placed a lot of art work depicting the buildings history - including the industrial coffee roaster in the lobby. Parking was simple just across the street (and free). The walk to the city center was just down the street and over the bridge to the train station. Have to say that this was one of our best stays in all of NZ.
Bedroom on the first floor. Interesting architectural add was the clear glass in the left corner that allowed natural sunlight in from the living room window
View from the living room in the galley kitchen.
Stairs leading up to the kitchen / living room spaces
Coffee Roaster (decorated for Christmas) in lobby.

It is very neat and tidy, and well equipped to be self sufficient. Bit noisy between rooms, and no air-conditioning as advertised. Parking was a bit of a hassle having to move after 2hrs but can be worked around.

Well Renovated Historic Building

The property was nice, newly built/renovated. Heating was good. The car parking was not as advertised: “Free Parking On-Site” is a not accurate. You have to find a park on the public roads nearby. They are largely full up during working hours. Fortunately, our timing didn’t seem to clash, so we always got a park nearby.
