The flat was great for my purposes for a week stay in London. The host's communication was excellent, checking in frequently to see if I had questions, etc. The flat is smaller than it appears in the pics, but that is typically the case in the UK.

Easy Peasy

Desmond could not have been more easy and pleasant to work with!! My husband and I are most grateful to him for a great location and apartment close to the tube and wonderful dining areas (which he recommended). My only suggestion would be a book or sheet that listed the way to work the stove, shower faucets, where things are, etc.

Awesome host in the best location

Had a splendid stay at this property! Desmond and Greg went over and above accommodating a long delay, late arrival etc. The apartment is spacious and light and in such a great location to have fun in London. Thank you so much and I can’t wait to be back!

One Week in London

The property was tidy and appointed as advertised. Our host was excellent. He was proactive in his communications and was quick to provide helpful info. Proximity to the tube made getting around easy.

Location, Accommodation, Host - 5 Stars!

My daughter and I stayed in this apartment for 9 nights and are really happy we chose it. It is well located with restaurants, shops and an Underground Station within a short walk. The apartment is just what we were hoping for - a good size living room, comfortable bed, great natural light, a kitchen ready to prepare a meal or heat one up and super clean. Everything you want for a comfortable home away from home. Desmond was the consummate host always available to answer any questions and provide recommendations for restaurants and shopping. We only with that we could have stayed longer, and we look forward to a return visit.

Good apartment, great location but could use a refresh

The apartment is well laid out but needs some attention. The bathroom has a sink that's too small to use (we ended up using the kitchen's) and there are other problems with it: the cold water faucet leaks, the ceiling needs a repair, the bathtub is deep and treacherous to enter. Some of the chairs are broken and the dishwasher front needs to be replaced. The overall decoration gives the impression of having been thrown together from whatever was in a storage unit. The overall area of Notting Hill is excellent, however, the bedroom is very quiet and, tbh, we'd stay here again even with the little nitpicks.
