No fee. I didn’t even have to ask. Then I sat down to an absolutely delicious breakfast served by the delightful Cynthia, before settling into my big fluffy bed for a much needed nap after my 6am flight. It just kept getting better from there. The entire staff is unbelievably warm, friendly, and genuine. The food was excellent, and the accommodations on the beach (complimentary lounge chairs, towels, umbrellas, side tables and sunscreen all set up for you by a friendly beach attendant) made my time on their gorgeous beach feel totally luxurious. The beach bar and pool area were equally fabulous. I also really enjoyed Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. It’s laidback, unpretentious, quiet, and exactly what I was looking for in a getaway. I can’t say enough about this gem of a resort and I cannot wait to return. "
