Crystal Lake Hotels, Fort Lauderdale

"Requested 2 months in advance and again a week before for a room close to an elevator due to husbands mobility. Assigned a room 8 rooms away. Website states cruise terminal shuttle available ( surcharge may apply) when in fact the hotel DOES NOT arrange for terminal transportation. You are required to arrange for it your self. There are a lot of hotels who DO provide this service. Only 3 elevators available for the rooms, one was out of service. Reason we chose Crown Plaza. Not happy. "

"Our flight was delayed and we got to the hotel about 130a. Told there were no room for us. Took us across the street to another hyatt hotel where we waited about 15 mins and the clerk said she didn't have any rooms at all. Sent us back to this hotel. We were given a room and then was charged double. Fortunately everything was straightened out in the morning. It was very nerve wracking when all these other factors came into play. However we did enjoy the few hours we were there. The bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. "
