We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. We always come back because of its affordability, and its location. We were put in the same room as our previous visit (9th floor) which was great. the last time we stayed they had just renovated, and there was a lingering paint/cement smell. Unfortunately it was still there, almost a year later.
We were concerned due to past evaluations, but we found it to be above average in every way. We had a non-smoking room that was well equipped with refrigerator, iron and Ironing board, coffee maker w/ coffee,
microwave, and wall mounted flat TV, and wifi if needed. The breakfast was hosted and included a variety of breakfast items. My wife and I ate the fresh oatmeal w/ granola and toast, juice and coffee. The room had adequate space, tables, and chairs. We left our car in their lots while we went on a fourteen day cruise. The
charge for parking was: 7.00 per day. They also provided complementary transportation to and from the cruise terminal.
We felt the total cost was very reasonable and would book this hotel again when we cruise.
"Nice hotel close to most of the things wants to do"
A very pleasant and helpful staff, just to name a few,Marie,Evert,Roger,Margaret etc,are always there for whatever assistance we needed, and always provided with a big smile. We travel a lot and stay in various hotels, but few of the staff match those at this hotel.
Many downtown attractions are centered on the Riverwalk, Fort Lauderdale’s chief arts, entertainment, and shopping district. Its landmarks include the Museum of Arts Fort Lauderdale and trendy Las Olas Boulevard. The Broward County Convention Center lies southeast of the downtown core. Nearby, palm trees shadow the promenade along Fort Lauderdale Beach, among the cleanest in the nation.
