Nice place, right on the intercoastal, lots of places to eat/shop within 3 blocks. This place is not on the beach-it's at least a couple miles away, but the water taxi does stop right outside the hotel. Front desk staff during the day quite rude, (only one of them), otherwise staff seemed helpful. This is not a true Hilton full service hotel, they have some problems. For the price I was satisfied, just don't pay for a room upgrade-they put you where they want unless you beg and complain, which I don't do. Seemed like most if not all rooms had a balcony, which was nice.
I stayed at this hotel for one night and I will commend Tracy and Edwin on their great customer service skills. They were attentive and friendly. I had an early morning flight so I asked for a wake up call at 5am, which I never received. I called the front desk to request a cab for 545am (because the advertised shuttle to the airport does not start until 8am) and I was rudely told to call when I need it. Lastly I go downstairs to check out before I get in the cab and no one was there! The room was clean and nice but be wary of the difference in customer service you will receive.
"Nice clean hotel close to the port for the cruise"
Got there late at night, staff was just a average, but nice clean room for four of us and they had a great breakfast included in there price. Really awesome place to stay a night if you are going for a cruise. Very important messages for who need a shuttle service to get to the port and back after a cruise, DON'T get a shuttle service from FORT LAUDERDALE SHUTTLE SERVICE. We had to wait more then an hour in over 30 degree heat for the first shuttle bus to show up. We called the number they gave us, all they said was some one will be there in 5 to 10 minutes, which took another 30 minutes. No apologies what so ever.
Beautiful, updated property. Many options for dining, or having a drink. Beautiful pool,
Workout facilities, lovely lobby, clean rooms, friendly staff. Close to all the great restaurants off of Las Olas. Hotel is located on the Riverside! Cafè Richard has wonderful food!!! I highly recommend booking this property through Expedia, saves you $$$
I enjoyed the pool the most because it was warm all the time. Breakfast was convenient and available from 7am-10am. You get toast, tea/coffee, boiled egg, yogurt, cereal and hot oatmeal. If you like variety, you will not find it at this hotel. You get free Wifi, but it was slow. The staff was helpful. Make sure to put your door latch on when inside your room.
Many downtown attractions are centered on the Riverwalk, Fort Lauderdale’s chief arts, entertainment, and shopping district. Its landmarks include the Museum of Arts Fort Lauderdale and trendy Las Olas Boulevard. The Broward County Convention Center lies southeast of the downtown core. Nearby, palm trees shadow the promenade along Fort Lauderdale Beach, among the cleanest in the nation.
