Photos misrepresent cottage in owners garden
The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated however it had no television or radio no puzzles or DVDs or books. Property was at the end of the owner’s garden. Lack of privacy and kids play equipment straight out the window. The cottage was freezing cold in evening and morning and stifling in the afternoon. No way to pass time or cook the simplest meal. Sitting on deck you could hear everyone in house’s surrounding property and people out front above lake. Not for us sorry.

Peaceful retreat at Lake Hawea.
We enjoyed our stay in this delightful little cottage. It is situated in a private and peaceful setting. The lake and walking tracks are just a few minutes walk away.

Cabin just as listed. Comfortable bed, clean and situated close to lake, cafe and hotel. Lovely and quiet location. Great helpful owner Perfect for our needs

Lake Front Cabin
Sweet little cabin on the lake front about 5 walk to nice beach with great views over the lake. Great location close to the general store and about a 2 minute drive to the local boat ramp. The cabin has a nice little Terrace which has great sun mid afternoon in the summer. We staying 1 night and the accommodation was perfect for our needs.. Kaz was great with quick responses and all the information we need to make the check in process easy. She was also very accommodating to a few extra needs that we had.

Trouble with wifi, view wasn't what we were expecting, very noisy with rain on roof, uncomfortable bed. Nice ,clean and warm and close to Hotel. Unfortunately this didn't suit us, would suit younger couples.

A nice location but the property is not one we would stay in again during the colder damper months. The oil heater was only just adequate, really needs a heatpump which would also help with the condensation. Would be an OK summer stay.

Position good with a view of the lake. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Good value for the price. Heating was a fan heater in lounge this was noisy. A different heater would be better.

A fabulous cottage on the edge of the lake with a super deck to catch the afternoon sun. A cute holiday spot very clean tidy and excellently presented. Great spot - we thoroughly recommend 🙏🧡

This cottage is in a great spot near the lake and shop. We didn’t realise there was only a microwave to cook with - our fault for not reading the detail. Hosts were great to deal with

Location ideal .would be a great spot in the summer. Clean and comfortable would have liked mat on floor. Floors cold in winter.
