"Definitely not your standard “motel” stay! Beautiful, thoughtfully appointed rooms, spotlessly clean and lovely hosts. Great location in the centre of Taupo and walking distance to an endless number of restaurants. We had a two-bedroom suite with a spa bath, and it was more than comfortable for our family of four. The room would have been suitable for a far longer stay than we had time for. Highly recommended."

"I went to taupo for my trip. Stay in silver fern lodge. It gives a very good experience also quite environment. No disturbance and a good with a cheap option room. "

"The view of the lake was awesome and when the sky was clear you could see Mt ruapehu from our lodging. The heated floor was a bonus for the winter chill and the beds were nice and soft. Town was down the road and family activities were close by. Was an amazing time for me and my family."
